USB over Ethernet software for macOS - Activation guide

Just after the purchase of USB over Ethernet software for macOS, you should activate it to get all its advantages. As soon as your order is processed, you will receive the activation code.

The number of Macs, where you can enter the activation code, is determined by the license you have bought.

To activate USB Network Gate for macOS, you should take these steps:
Note: The Internet Access on your Mac is required.

Click “Activate” in menu.

In the invoked window enter your activation code you’ve received from us:

Finally, click “Activate” button.

USB Network Gate for macOS will be activated automatically. No system reboot or application restart is required.
If you don’t have Internet access on your Mac, you can activate USB Network Gate manually (offline). You will need to use another Mac which is online to get the special activation file.
Do the following:

Repeat steps 1-3 of the instruction above.

You will get the following message:

Click “Activate offline” button.

In the invoked window read the instructions and click “Save activation info to a file” button:

Then bring this file (on a USB flash drive, for example) to any computer which has Internet access.

Go to LINK Click “Choose File” button to load the file, enter the verification code and click “Submit” button:

Activation file will be sent to the e-mail address (from which the order was placed). You will also have the possibility to download this file right away.

Bring this file to your Mac (where USB Network Gate for macOS is installed). Repeat steps 1-3 of this instruction to invoke the following window and click “Load activation data generated by server” button:

Once activation is successfully completed, you will get a confirmation message.
Notes:

  1. USB Network Gate for macOS may be occasionally reactivated in the background to ensure smooth and uninterrupted license compliance check. This will require Internet connection as well. If there is no access to the Internet available on your Mac, you can reactivate USB Network Gate for macOS manually (offline). Follow the instructions above.

  2. Trial version of USB Network Gate for macOS performs activation in the background without your interference. No activation code is needed! Activation of Trial version is required for statistics only.
